Xtra Maths Result's 2016

This is My Result's I got on Xtra Maths.I am on Addition My hand Slipped and I got 4 Wrong. I got 39 Smiley Faces and I got 5 Ticks. I think I need to work a bit harder. So I can get all of them as Smiley Faces.

Hauora

This is My Hauora Inquiry Must Do I did with Miss Anderson. Hauora is a Maori Belief for Health there is Taha Tinana, Taha Hinengaro,Taha Wairua, and Taha Whanua.It is important as an athlete that all of our 4 Walls Must Stand Up.

Basic Subtraction 4

This week for my Maths Must do I had to go on Transum Basic Subtraction It was easy to do and Work out the Equations. It was fun to do and workout out.

Poetry

SC;  Deep Words,Subject or Topic, Feelings,Emotive Language, Character's, Reapeative Language, Place's Rhyme, Different Tenses.
This week for our Writing Must do we had to do a Poem based on the Woods,River,Ocean Etc. I worked with my Group first then we had to do our One this is Mine.  We had to use a Noun,Verb,Adjective, and Adverb. A noun is a  naming word, A Verb is a Doing word, A Adjective is a Describing Word and a Adverb is a Explaining Word.

Warrior's Visit

Today we had a Special Visit from Dtr and Two Warrior's Player's. Ryan Hoffman and John Palaui came today. Alice the Dtr Sponsor Manager came to our school so we could Meet Ryan Hoffman and John Palaui. Ryan Hoffman is a Second Row player and also the Captain of the Warrior's Team. John Palau is the Second Row Prop Lock player for the Warrior's Team. Ryan Hoffman and John Palaui Introduced them selves by saying their Name, Favourite Ice Cream Flavour, and what position they play on the Team. They showed us a Highlight's Video. They talked  about  Hydration and how we should drink water everyday. They also talked about Sleep,and belonging.We also had a Trivia Quiz about Rugby  and information about the Warrior's Team . Belonging we had to talk about were we belong and for sleep we had to talk about how much we have to sleep.Children needs 11 hours of sleep and Adult's need 8 hour's of sleep. If we had a right answer we would get a prize. i got a prize too. We had to Chant if we knew the answer Ryan Hoffman's team Chant was Hoffy and  John Palaui's team chant was P.j. we were divided into two team's. It was lot's of fun going to the Warrior's Visit.

Rugby with a Jandal

The book is about a boy called Fiti and his friend's they play Rugby with a  Jandal because they can't afford a Real Rugby Ball. Fiti's sister play's Rugby Too. Rocket Ship

This week for Maths, Mr Ogilvie's groups had to play a game called 'Blast Off/ Rocketship. The game requires 2 - 4 players, a dice and a Rocket ship (example above). The idea of this game is to have the smallest numbers on the bottom and the biggest numbers on the top of the Rocket ship.You have to roll the dice Fifteen times until .you get the smallest numbers on the bottom and the biggest numbers on the top.At  the end of the game if you have successful numbers you say blast off.
