My Edited Piece of Writing
 On Saturday I was at my Papa's, Aunt’s and Uncle’s house getting ready for Halloween. When I saw my Papa he was dressed up as a Spooky Zombie. I was so frightened when I saw my Papa. I was dressed up as a Purple Bat. I was ready for Halloween. My Papa and I were going around the houses asking for lollies. When I went to the house it was very black and very spooky.

My Papa got scared. I told him don’t worry It's just a house full of decorations. There were Spiderwebs, bats, and witches decorations. I knocked on the door and out came a ghost Man and a lady they gave us sweets it was yummy. I said to them next I want to go down to another house. It wasn't spooky at all. The house only had spiders and a black Witch’s broom. 

I knocked on the door and out came a black witch. The lady gave us some Chocolates and Candies. When we stopped at Kings Road we saw my friend Zara and her Dad Babu. They were going Trick or Treating for yummy treats. Me and My Papa were walking to Zara we asked if we could come with you to go trick or treat. They said yes then we stopped to go down to the cafe. We had Hot Chocolate and Strawberry Cupcakes. 

Then we went down to Coates Crescent. To go to other houses for Trick or Treat. When we saw another house that was even scarier. I said happy Trick or Treat to them and a Spider came out. The Man gave us some lollies and Chocolates it was fun at Trick or Treat. Then it was time to go home I said bye to my friend Zara and went home to eat all the goodies .
Yesterday and Today I have been working with Avalon. We had to read over a simple piece of writing. Avalon and I had to make changes as the original piece. We had to fix mistakes like capital letters, Put  full stops, punctuation marks.

Aim:

To find which teeth are used for biting and chewing foods. Why do we use certain teeth for biting and chewing.

Hypothesis

I think my front teeth will be used to bite the bread. I think I will bite the banana using my front teeth.

                                

   Results

First I  used my front teeth to bite it. Then I used my incisors to bite my banana. I have also used  my canine to bite my banana.

                                              Bread

I used my Incisors to bite the bread I used my Canines to chew it.

                                    Apple

I used my Canine to bite my Apple. I used my Molars and Pre Molars to chew it.

                                                   Biscuit   

I used my Incisors and Canine to bite my biscuit.

1. What are you most pleased with? Why / why not?

          I am pleased with my apple because it is blended well. I like my apple because it is shaped well.

2. What did you learn from creating your still life painting?

Think about sketching, shape, size, balance, painting-blending of colours, painting within the lines

I learnt that sketching the grape was easy and also fun. My grapes were shaped well.

3. What did you find easy?

I found that drawing the fruits was easy and drawing the size accurately was easy.

4. What did you find difficult?

I found that balancing the fruits were difficult because some of them came crooked.

5. Who did helped you with your still life painting?

Miss Paton helped me with my painting when I needed help with blending my colours.

I would not change anything of my painting because  I think it's perfect.

Making Anzac Biscuits

Making Anzac Biscuits By Nazanin “Wow this Anzac biscuit is so scrumptious” I said to Marieta. Today we made Anzac biscuits. We used ingredients and equipment. We were learning about reading fractions and making accurate measurements. We all worked as a team. The first thing we did was that Mele measured the butter. Mele measured 100 grams of butter. Each segments was 50 grams and Mele had to combine two segments so it could be 100 grams. Mele got a sharp knife and started to cut. Alex got the butter and greased the oven trays. When Alex finished greasing the trays, Shailah got the measuring spoon and poured a tablespoon of golden syrup into the pot of butter. Then Tai, Miss Paton and I went to the hall kitchen and melted the golden syrup and butter. When we finished melting the two ingredients we went back to the classroom. After that Joshua measured ½ cup of flour and poured it into the bowl. Next Liam poured ½ cup of sugar. Avalon poured ¾ cup of rolled oats. Najib poured ¾ cup of coconut into the bowl. After that the whole class had a turn to stir the mixture. Next Hajera, Nyjah, Sky, Jacob, Aiden, and Taylor rolled the mixture into little balls. Juliet, Nyjah, Shailah, Jacob and Chavda flattened the mixture with a fork. We had to put the balls four centimeters apart. Then Liam and Taylor took the trays to the hall kitchen and put them into the oven. They put the biscuits in the oven for 10 minutes. After they were cooked Liam and Taylor came back with the Anzac Biscuits. I could already smell the golden syrup that were in the biscuits. When I tasted the Anzac biscuits they were so scrumptious and irresistible. I could taste the golden syrup and rolled oats that made the biscuits delicious.
This is my Anzac Biscuits work. I worked on this I had fun writing about what we did.

Chopsticks Challenge

This  my presentation on my Chopsticks Challenge. This week we did the Chopsticks Challenge it was i interesting and fun. I had fun making this.

Science Experiment 1 - Levers

    Title :  The Chopsticks Challenge

Aim : Use the chopsticks as a lever to carry a wine gum from one to another bowl within one metre.

                                Hypothesis

  I can try carrying  my wine gum from one end of the table to the other  end within one metre.

       My Entire Group were able to carry all the wine gums using the Chopsticks.

This is my Experiment I did with my group. It was lots of fun we learned new things like. I learned how to use the chopsticks.

Chopsticks Challenge Recount

    Chopsticks Challenge

On a summer breezing Morning I said ‘ yay’ we are going to do the Chopsticks Challenge. We had to use Chopsticks to carry wine gums to the other bowl. I was so excited when we started. I said go go go Mele she was good at balancing the wine gum. When it was my turn I got the Chopsticks from Avalon.   I was so nervous but I  had made the wine gum go in the bowl. After it was Skys turn She did it faster and we kept getting the wine gum from the bowl and put it into the bowl on the other side. Then all the wine gums had finished and we all put it in the bowl on the other side. We had to wait until everybody in the class was finished. I thought that this challenge was a fun and exciting challenge. And then  everybody sat on the mat.  

Next we did another challenge using the pebbles. We got in our groups and then we started to play this challenge. It was quite hard for me because I  kept trying my hardest to get the pebbles in the  bowl. Sky was good at putting the pebbles in the bowl on the other side. When it was Mele ' s turn She got the pebble and she got it in the bowl as fast as a cheetah. Then it was Avalon's turn she also did fast. But she failed and she tried her hardest.  When it was my turn I was so nervous but I still knew that  I was going to do it.  It was our last round and all of us was nervous but the when we finished we were the second team that won. 1st  place was Tai's Group and then everybody’ s  team was done except  Juliet's team. When Juliet's team was done the whole class came on the floor for the next challenge.

Our next Challenge we were divided into two groups half of us was in one group and the other half was in the other group. Then Miss Paton said Sky is the captain and the other team the captain is Ta ‘ ani. When we started to play Sky nearly got it in them bowl in the other side. The pebble dropped  by the bowl she was nearly there. When it was Avalon's turn she  got the pebble and the rest of team said go Avalon go. The rest of the team was cheering for her. She got the pebble and she lifted the pebble with the  chopsticks and she was nearly there when she dropped it. Next it was my turn I kept trying but I couldn't get the pebble and put it in the bowl in the other side.  The pebble was slippery as a snake. I gave the Chopsticks to Caesar and he got the pebble and put it in the bowl in the other side. After every body had a turn except Aung Naing and he got a Pebble in the bowl in the other side. After we went and sat on the floor and the winning team was Ta’ ani ‘ s team.  This Challenge was  quite  hard but our group still tried hard.

This experience was fun and exciting we had to use chopsticks to get the pebbles or the wine gums  in the bowl in the other side. I wish we could do this experience again.
